An Angel Measures the City of Gold

" ... human measurements, which are also angelic measurements ... " (Revelation 21:17 KJV)

The City is 1,500 miles Long:  Revelation 21:16-18 (NASB)

Revelation 21:16-18  Jesus said "I go to prepare a place for you" and "In My Father's House are many mansions."  In Revelation we are given a tiny peek inside the New Jerusalem City; the eternal dwelling of the saints of God.  The streets are made of gold and the gates are made of pearl.  And the Glory of God the Father and the Son of God illuminate the City forever:

16 The City is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the City with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal. 
17 And he measured its wall, seventy-two yards, according to human measurements, which are also angelic measurements. 
18 The material of the wall was jasper; and the City was pure gold, like clear glass.
